Someone mentioned lack of ease in connectring trickle charger. Is there no "hot" 12 plug to plug Porsche battery maintainer as in my 997?

 

All three plugs (center console, footwell, and glove box) are hot and are all rated at 20A. Unlike my 997, I can use any one of the three plugs for my trickle charger.

My 991 did not have the smoker's package so I was worried about using the other plugs, but the owner's manual fuse map confirms that all the other plugs are now rated at 20A, unlike the 997.
