So one of the spyshots of a (supposed) 991 C4 had a 997-style cover under the raised spoiler. Have there been more shots with that? Is it a 2013 thing?

I like the look of the wider spoiler from the front:ish angles. Depending on rear angle, however, I think the spoiler up can look dangerously close to someone having forgotten to shut the engine lid. An accordion cover of the internals a-la 997 would help in that regard, is my thought.

If it does emerge, seems like an easy retrofit. And it couldn't weigh that much could it?
