Question on PASM / Sport PASM

I have Sport PASM on my 991. I did not have it on my prior Porsche Cayman so am not completely familiar with it. What I want to know is...my Sport PASM is supposed to be 20MM lower than the stock model without Sport PASM....but is it 20MM lower at ALL times or does the suspension drop the 20MM when I hit the Sport PASM button? Just wondering if part of the reason it firms up is because it lowers down taking away some of the travel it would have in comfort mode or its always 20MM lower and the comfort to sport is achieved in a different way altogether.

It's 20mm lower at all times - it's just shorter springs.
The comfort comes in with the ability to have softer or firmer shocks.

When you push sport it probably is activating the stiffer setting on the shocks. There should be a separate switch for returning the shocks to normal setting after activating the sport setting.

PASM sport has shorter and stiffer springs plus larger sway bars. Ride height is always 10 lower than PASM and 20 lower than stock (no PASM). As stated the only adjustment is the shock stiffness that varies based on driving or pushing the button.

This is correct. I have SPASM, the ride is great, looks very nice, especially with the 5mm spacers. The ride height just looks correct.
