adams polishes are pretty good. They also have great customer service and a forum set up to support the customers with tips and techniques.

DHill: Heard you raving about Pinnacle Souvern paste car wax so I got it from autogeek..originally $95 but there is an online coupon "VEGAS2012" that gives you 20% off all purchases from autogeek.com so it was only $76 with freee shipping....no minimum purchase required. It will bring out the nice black color in my C2S.
My AMG C63 is gray(slighlty metallic). Will the Pinnacle Souvern paste wax enhance my AMG paint as well?. The AMG is 2010, has 33K miles--garage kept for the most part(never waxed by me) but detailed once a year at the Benz shop. The paint looks good on the AMG but is not "slippery" as is on my brand new 2013 C2S. Any reccs on rehabbing the AMG. Note the AMG has no swirls, but has about 10 or so rock chips on the front hood as I did not get a clear bra for it(did'nt know any better back then!). Eventually I will get the AMG hood painted and clear bar applied....

Sounds like you will need to Clay, Polish with an Orbital Buffer, and then Wax your AMG. It should be just as smooth as your 991 when you are done.
When working with Polish and Wax be very careful next to any clear bra edges/seems. Wax and polish are tough to remove from these areas and show up drastically on dark colored cars. I'd stay away from them by about 1/4 inch or so.
