It has been proven that dark blue metallic owners are smarter then other color owners. I am not biased.

You know, I guess that must be so as I never thought of that.

Thought I would post interior picture. Hope it shows up right side up!
Thank you ChuckJ for straightening out my picture. What did I do wrong?
Just a note that I find the placement of the seven speed to bet in the perfect location and makes for easy shifting. Anxious to reach break-in miles and explore the upper rpm range.
One option I really would like to add is PSE. If you have it on a base c2 is the increase sound significant? I hear the burble and pops are intoxicating!

I don't have dark blue metallic, so I'm having a tough time figuring out how someone can "own a color."

Beautiful car Pcar991, and happy you're working through the misery up there!

Thinking about it now, guess us metallic blue owners are not as smart as we think.

How did you get the black gear shift insert on yours, mine came with beige. I like the black.

I have a base C2 and am getting the PSE installed on thursday. I'll let you know how it goes. Pretty pumped about it!

mdc - I did have a 1963 split window vet and it was silver blue with dark blue leather interior it also had the 327 / 340 hp engine. Funny thing is I always felt the quality of materials and build were better than the other vet's I have owned. The styling of that car will always turn my head. Unfortunately, sold it to make room for the children.

Airportrat - funny I thought the stick shift boot should have been beige, like it was in my Cayman, and not black.

Thank you all for your welcome!

Cbrett - anxious to hear how the PSE install goes. I know this will be my first addition to the car. Is it being installed by Porsche dealer? Are you also changing the single exhaust pipe to the dual pipes?

Ah... children. Seems like such a good idea at the time - ha ha ha. I keep telling mine I should have stick to cars. . I do not know much about vets as I never owned one. But I am a love the C2 and 3, especially C2. On a rare occasion that I see one on the road, I will follow it for a while, probably right before the guy call the cops. To me, modern vet interior styling and build quality/material is bad. The C2 with all the switches and **** looks so much better than the cheap plastic. But come to think of it, go look at 993, even 996, they don't look that great either.

yup, the porsche dealer is doing it. $3200 for parts, $600 for labor. bit pricey, but i wanted something factory. the kit comes with the dual pipes. can't wait!

Love that interior. I didn't dare order it because I thought I couldn't keep it looking like new. Gorgeous car!!
