Ok, maybe someone had this problem before...

I bought a C2S back 10 months ago without PSE.

After listening to all the people enthusiast comments i decided to put it on.
Complete PSE arrived to my dealer, they installed evrything correctly (they say), but PSE is "always on".

You can't switch between PSE and NORMAL mode...

They say they have a "tester" or a software bug and they have to wait for a software upgrade.

They say they tested cables and evrything is alright.

Had someone the same problem\experience?

 

Sounds like the only problem you have is the envy of everyone else in this forum who can't leave our PSE on all the time!

Well, if they won't be able to fit it properly, then i'll keep it as it is now, always on...but i would like to have the ability to switch it off!

You know, italy as alot of medieval cities with loudness limits...

 

I had a '10 C2S cab., and had the dealer install PSE. They did not install a switch to turn it on/off. I was told that they "always did the mod that way."
I was also disappointed, at first. But after having the PSE for a while, I LOVED it always on. Especially when I started up, and heard that PSE "growl." Sounded like a big Rottweiller getting ready to bite somebody. Loved it, loved it, and never would have wanted it off.

Guys, sorry for the Italian. In Italy basically you can be as loud as you want, as long as you're driving a Ferrari....

 

Is it in when you go into Sport mode or just when you start the car? Did you get a loud button to go with it?

When I got my X51 installed, the PSE is on when Sport or Sport+ is selected. The loud button was not part of the package for some weird reason.

 

With factory-installed PSE you can also start it with sport exhaust ON. Just turn the key one click to the right, reach down with your right hand and engage the Sport + button, step on the accelerator all the way to the floor, then turn the key the rest of the way to the right and start the motor.

Ok Guys.

Just took back home my C2S with brand new PSE installed, waiting for a "new" ECU (because that one in bundle with the PSE was defected).

As i told You before NOW my PSE is ALWAYS ON...

Well, I think now, after a short trip with the new exhaust that i'll keep my defected ECU with PSE always on...WHAT a great sound..!
U don't really need to switch it off..!

The problem is, in any case...solved!

 

"PSE is always on"... this does not sound like a problem

 

Checkout my PSE always on mod post. I found the PSE connector and disconnected it. Mine is now ALWAYS on

I mean that when i start the engine the PSE is already phisically on, even tough the button on the console is switched off...

They say (at my dealer) that is a ECu problem. In fact they ordered a new ECu to solve (i hope) the problem.
