I finally have my “perfect” 2014 Carrera Cpe. ordered. This will be my 4th Pcar (’08C2S Cpe., ’10 C2S Cab., and ’12 C2 Cpe.), and I assessed my prior experiences with the last three Pcars in an attempt to order just what I wanted, and with nothing that I didn’t want. The “didn’t wants” was a short list. I didn’t want another cabriolet, as there was very little usefulness (for me) out here in the hot Las Vegas desert. I also decided not to go with another “S”, as I saw no need for the extra 50 hp., or the PTV (although I suppose the larger brakes would have been better, but I’m sure the base Carrera will stop just fine.) I never used the Sport Chrono on my previous “S” Pcars, and did not see any need for it on my new base C2. I never used Sport Plus or Launch Control (I drive only on busy city streets), and never went to a track and don't expect to. I considered the Leather Interior (never had it before), and simply decided I did not want it. So from my personal experience, and from input/suggestions from forum members, here is my 2014 C2 build sheet. The build date is June 4th, and my estimated delivery date is Sept. 6th.
