Park it in the shade behind my office building

Garage it at night

Am looking for someone to run along the side with an umbrella while I drive

My car sits outside, parked in the street over night many times.
I use CQuartz Finest on the car to protect it from the elements, and the front has a clear bra. Its helps for cars that sit outside. My windows are also slightly tinted and I use the sunshade...other then that just enjoy it.

I only got 3 indoor garage spaces but 4 Porsches.

So club coupe parks on the driveway under a canopy.

Mine is as the ones before it my daily driver. It lives outside and I can't say that it is a problem.

You obviously don't live in Texas! That would last about 20 seconds in one of our 80 MPH wind storms. Did you see Jerry Jones' Cowboy training camp tent?

You are lucky. My wife would never allow me to put up a canopy anywhere near the house . . . .

I told her either canopy, or her Panamera goes outside.

Well Chuck, we are quite lucky to have mild weather in Vancouver.

No, I do not use a car cover. Mine sees rain, sun and snow. Just had it detailed and the finish looks as new after 15,000 miles. It is a car, designed in Germany where the weather can be pretty harsh, not a Rembrandt. Drive it, enjoy it, get a new one when you get tired of it.

Amen. Don't "save" the car for the next owner. Let's face it most of the folks on here are not going to keep their cars for long enough to make the difference significant. The 911 is famous for being an everyday "supercar", which makes in unique IMHO compared to the garage queens from the various Italian makers.

I agree with what you say. Yet, I still want my car to look good when I get in it. I prefer the dusty, driven hard look over the bird crap and tree pollen appearance.

I was in Germany for 3 years, bought a '69 911S and I kept it outside, but I can't say I saw a German keep one outside. In fact a friend of mine was looking for one and when we went to see one during the second winter and he had it in his garage and had cancelled the insurance until spring/summer.
