Picked up a Flex XC3401VRG Orbital Action Polisher.

First washed and clayed the finish. then used the Flex with a Meguiars DA Microfiber Cutting Disc and Menzerna SF 4500 Polishing Compound. I cleared the left over compound and applied Meguiars DA Microfiber Finishing Wax using a Meguiars DA Microfiber Finishing Disc. The wax was removed with a very light touch on a microfiber cloth.

the flex is an random orbital polisher that will not mar, burn or swirl the finish.

My car's finish was very good before and amazing afterwards. Smooth, flawless and very reflective.

 

I became very close friends with the Flex random orbital + Menzerna products during the 4 years I owned my black 997. Whoever said "Black is not a color, it's a second job" spoke the truth. My platinum silver 991 will no doubt get Flexed sometime in the future, if I can just stop driving it for a day.
