Hi All,
I'm probably not able to change my headlights at this point in my order (its scheduled to be complete on Oct 24), but I'm wishing I had the Black PDLS option
My car is coming with the standard Xenon (meaning chrome inside), the PDLS option means nothing to me, but I wish I could have gotten the black lights.

Does anyone have pictures of a black 991 with the black headlights? I'm afraid I might not like the chrome lights when my car comes in. Even the PDLS gunmetal lights would look better, arrggg.

Anyone know if it would be possible to swap out the headlights for oem black ones with PDLS at a later point, or since my car is standard w/o PDLS, will it be a problem.

What do you think? Can some black 991s post pics of the their headlights, chrome (standard) gunmetal (PDLS) and black (Black PDLS).

What about aftermarket tint on the headlights??

I have basalt black with black pdls and go back and forth on the decision. Will try to post pics next weekend if someone doesnt post something prior.

 

What do you go back and forth about? Would you rather chrome or gunmetal, not sure what you mean.

I wouldn't sweat it.......I think black with silver looks great. It will match up with the badging on the back and your wheels. I have a black TT on order with the LEDs, and I'm not sure whether they are black or silver......don't care really. Both types of headlights look good to me.

Dyim, your car looks like a cousin to mine, I've got the Sport pkg and black Sport Technos--wow, I want this car NOW

I definitely prefer the black head lights, but honestly none of them look bad at all. I did email my dealer to see if he can alter my order to black PDLS.

Any pics with standard chrome with black?

Good news is my order is "freezed" meaning it's getting closer, bad news is no Black PDLS from the factory. My dealer is still going to see what he can do, if anything--he's quite the Porsche guru and has been working with them for 35 years!

If it really bothers me I can always pursue swapping the headlights out for a small fortune, I'm sure

Anyone have chrome xenons w/Black for me to see?

That is not my car. It is somone else's thread! Definitely looks good though.

I have a C2S coupe in anthracite brown.

 

Headlight washer painted black looks best with black headlights IMHO.

sorry, should have been more clear. I go back on forth on whether i would have preferred greater contrast (plain PDLS) vs. getting black PDLS.
