Gratz! Looks great! I hope they parked it on the street just temporarily for you to look at.

If you have front parking sensors the tow hook mount won't work. Check on the Skene mount as it only requires drilling of a couple of vertical holes in the bumper that don't show. With the X51 you'd need the medium one to mount the plate high enough to not impede air flow to the centre radiator. My avatar shows, albeit small, the mounting position.

Thanks for the feedback, was looking at that model.
It hurts to drill but in a non-visible location hurts less.
Having been harassed by NYPD excessively on a Ducati, I'm not in the mood to constantly getting pulled over for plates, or lack of.

For both of you New Yorkers:

I live in LI too and I park my 991S in a garage in the city. They let me park it and they do not touch it unless they really need to. Pm me if you need info. It's by the Chrysler building.

ale70, thanks a lot. I actually park right near the Chrysler building. I'm a monthly customer, tip well around the holidays, and they really do take good care of the car. I don't park it myself but I watch them park it on the ground level (not underground) all the way in the back of one of the rows of spots and it's almost always in the same place when I pick it up at night.

911/50 7MT C2S Powerkit, PASM Sport Just took delivery of my 911/50 from Manny at Manhattan Motorcars. He hooked me up and installed a tow hook front license plate holder and installed supplied front signals and door edge guards (suncoast). I opted the car with a clear bra. Note the US plate-sized rear bumper I bought a Skene front plate holder but am debating drilling into a brand new car, though I hate the off-center look. I may do one of those motorized contraptions above the center powerkit inlet since it's deep enough to accommodate one, instead of under the car. Porsche calls it Geyser Gray Metallic . . . It's cream

Have yet to install Laser Interceptor quads and V1 - any suggestions / referrals appreciated. Looking to integrate a custom remote display somewhere, with the radar mounted at the mirror.

Glad you have $$$ to burn! I certainly don't and where I live (just south of Beverly Hills) they do give tickets for no front plate all the time.

I will be using the US Mill Works tow hook version when my 991 shows up in a week or so.

I live in Newport beach and honestly here in OC it's a non-issue. LA is just looking for revenue. When I attended USC it was a constant battle with the meter maids and the like as they were just looking to boot and ticket.....you would think with that revenue they would fix the %$#$ roads too.

Hope you aren't getting the sport design package since the us mill works don't work properly with it . For $10 u can make your own holder.
