Brand new 991/50 in need of wiring: V1 powered at mirror, remote display, laser interceptor quads Would also entertain a discrete way of a remote display in the rear view mirror if it didn't disable the auto dimming, and if it wasn't too visible to a car tailing me.
I bought a used center console and would like to use unused spots in it for kill switch for the lasers and mute/power for V1. Anyone with experience wiring to the center console?
Saw a post where someone had novelty press-on decals but I'd like a setup that functioned as well.

That is a nice set up Turban. You are right about the switches, they are connected to a circuit board and are not individually wired.

Some customer from ai design posted their work here in case you are interested. Not 991, but just to give you a idea....

thanks for the tip
Just spoke with Todd over there - I think your car is actually on their site - the black/red?

How is everything working for you? - Have you dabbled with the Saavy/iPhone?

Ai Design has installed electronics on probably 30 of my personal cars - in addition to other mods (performance and otherwise) - I am a PIA when it comes to having things done right and they have EARNED my trust. Their design elements ensure that when I do something it makes sense, falls right to hand and makes sense ergonomically and aesthetically.

I dig the iPhone V1 app and it is cool - I still opt to have the radar integrated into the car so that when I get it it is all set and ready to go - I don't have to worry about sticking the phone somewhere on something etc - and I can use my phone (which with the V1 interface becomes virtually impossible).

I am a fan of Ai Design but it is because of the work and innovation first - they also happen to be good guys and that is always a plus.

Thanks for the pic suggestion.
It looks like I wasted $$ on that extra center console - no one I've spoken with can integrate the switches.
I'm sure it's not too hard but beyond a 12v installer?
