I had to make a quick note about AWE. Not long ago, I was complaining about the wait time to get my exhaust. I was about four weeks into waiting and was growing impatient. I see now why I was waiting. I've seen many others order the exhaust all around the same time, so it's makes sense why it took so long. There has been a lot of demand. Well my discomfort has been completely forgotten.

I sent Zack at AWE a PM on Sunday that I lost a tip and asked him if I could BUY another one. He got back to me that day, on a holiday weekend, telling me he'll take care of it this week. I wasn't sure what that meant. Well it meant he was going to send me a replacement tip at no charge! I received my new tip on Friday of this short week! I got it installed, made a few tweaks, and took a few shots. It started raining like crazy, so I couldn't go out to get outdoor photos.

Thanks again Zack! I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I'm loving the exhaust.

Don't worry, I got that mess from the recycling cleaned up.

I need more detailing supplies like I need another whole in the head. It's like an addiction. Since my Sonax PNS failed me, I've decided to give a high-end (aka waste of money) wax a try. Per the persuasion of forum member addysdaddy, I decided to expand my horizons. I was going to get Swissvax Concorso, but bought Auto Finesse Desire at 20% off instead. It will be a while before I give it a go as I just put some Collinite on the 911.

I bought the following:

Auto Finesse Desire Carnuba
P21S Polishing Soap for the exhaust tips
Chemical Guys Citrus Red Wash for stripping LSP prior to polishing
1Z Einzett ColourTec Wheel Cleaner: I'm just not wild about Sonax Full Effect any longer. I want to find something different.
TufShine Tire Clearcoat: I tried this when I was at Autogeek detailing school. I hate shinny tires. This stuff looked great on Mike Phillip's truck.
3.5" Backing Plate: I got this to put on my old Griot's 6" orbital to use with my 4" Pads.
Boar's Hair Lug Brush from Wheel Whoolies: My Swissvax one is moldy.
Griot's Rubber Cleaner: I abandoned this for a while. I'm going back to it. It works quite well in my opinion.
Wax Pads: For applying Wolf's trim/glass sealant and Opti-Coat.
New Tire Scrubbing Brush: It's made by TufShine. I liked to size and shape of it. We'll see how it works on lower cars with low profile tires.

Okay Matt, I'm anxious to hear your report on the Desire. Not many reviews because of the price point but I just put two coats of Spirit on the car today - came out great. BTW, love the majority of the supplies you just bought. P21s polishing soap is a fantastic product & a must have IMO, as is Citrus Red and the 1Z Wheel Cleaner as well. Unfortunately I've tried TufShine several times and have been very disappointed. For me it's PERL by CarPro for tires and vinyl trim. Maybe if I would be willing to use a scrubbing brush on my DA to clean the tires the TufShine would actually last more than two weeks. YMMV but it's not for me.

How do you like the exhaust? Is it any better than the PSE. If so, how? Any noticeable power gains/loss or is it just sound? I know from past experience you can lose some power down low from aftermarket systems.

I made some comments on my opinions a little earlier in the thread. It is much more aggressive the PSE. The interesting thing is that it is much louder with the valves open but doesn't drone nearly as much. I don't notice any gain or loss in power. There is definitely more violence when accelerating. I think it fits the personality of my car much better than PSE. My white car with black headlights, tinted windows, gunmetal wheels, and red brakes needs a bit more anger sound to go with it. I'm quite pleased.

Matt, always glad to help. Glad you've been enjoying the wonderful music of the SwitchPath! Now you can properly appreciate the appearance as well.

Great photos, by the way!

Their website states 20hp/25 lb ft of torque gained. Seems very optimistic but that is enough power that someone should feel.

Anyhow, your car looks great and I am sure it sounds fantastic as well.

I just went out for a two hour drive to the local PCA meeting. I had it out on the highway and on some back roads. There is some additional power but nothing earth shattering. It's amazing at how loud and violent the exhaust is under heavy load, but has darn near zero drone in 5th-7th gears cruising at 65-90mph on the highway even with valves open.

I got some outlet's put in for my fans this week. I intended to do it myself. I had an electrician at the house doing some other things, so I decided to let him do it. I had him leave install the outlets so that I could add some retractable power cords. These AirKing Fans are awesome.

I still have a lot of work to do in this garage. I'm going to be painting the walls, fixing the look of the attic access, and getting cabinets to cover the entire back wall. It's going to be awesome to hold me over until I build my ultimate garage.

Mine are these:

http://airking.ventingdirect.com/air...t-fan/p1791170

You really need to spend the extra money to get the "quiet" version. Without it they are too loud to think. I bought mine from Build.com to save the shipping, but it looks like you can get them direct from Air King now with free shipping.

They work with no problems on the same 15 amp circuit.

Very nice man!, This has to be the ultimate garage, so clean and well organized, but I'm curious though.
Wheres your garage junk? I would love to clear mine, but where do you put all that stuff? I feel like a slob

This might sound insane, but I DO NOT and WILL NOT allow the build up of junk! I battle my wife and 3 year-old son night and day to keep it clean. I have a crawl space under the house where I keep my car parts like exhausts, wheels, etc. I got rid of the lawn equipment in favor of hiring someone to take care of the grass for me.

I'll try and take some pictures for you to show you what the storage areas look like. As you might imagine, they are organized. I have a few things in the attic above the garage like factory boxes for my camera equipment that we sell every other year or ramps and oil changing pans.

I was out playing in the garage all day yesterday, so I decided to get the camera out an make a Foam Cannon demo video. Well, that turned into a Foam Cannon Demo PLUS, PLUS video. I figured I'd add to my journal some of my car washing gear, so others might not waste as much money as I have through trial and error.

Here is a list with links to the gear I have and use:

Pressure Washer: Kranzle 1122TST
http://www.pressurewashersdirect.com...her/p9832.html

Foam Cannon: MTM Hydro
http://www.pressurewashersdirect.com...263/p6154.html

High Pressure Quick Connects: This gets expensive, but you need 4 of the male connections with the black plastic ring around the end:
1. Inlet from the high pressure hose to the gun
2./3. Each high pressure nozzle
4. Foam Cannon
and you need two female connects
1. Connection of gun and nozzles
2. High pressure hose end.
http://www.pressurewashersdirect.com...KIT/p1851.html

***You also need to go to your local Home Depot or Lowes to get I believe a male 3/8" treaded to female 1/2" treaded coupler to add the quick connect to the MTM Foam Cannon. Don't hold me to those sizes. Take them both to the store with you to figure out the size you need. Also get some teflon tape to make sure your connections don't leak.

Low Pressure Hose to Connect Pressure Washer to Hose Bib:
http://www.eleyhosereels.com/accessory/inlet-hose/

Low Pressure Quick Connects: For the pressure washer you need two of them.
1. Hose to Hose Bib. I have one of these, but it's too heavy/bulky for the other side of the hose.
http://www.eleyhosereels.com/accesso...onnect-set-34/

2. Hose to Pressure washer.
http://www.pressurewashersdirect.com...010/p1847.html

Hose Reel: Eley Corp. Standard Capacity
http://www.eleyhosereels.com/reels/wall-mount/

Hose: I have a 3/4" Good Year that I bought from Adam's a few years ago. It appears they don't sell it any longer. I would probably buy a the Polyurethane one from Eley or the new one Griot's is selling. I would get a least 100 ft. option. You will need two more low pressure quick connects for this hose.

http://www.eleyhosereels.com/accesso...e-garden-hose/

http://www.griotsgarage.com/product/...ortby=ourPicks

Spray Nozzles: I have two of them. Eley Pistol Nozzle and Adam's Fire Hose that I don't think they make any longer. You will need the male ends of the quick connects for each.
http://www.eleyhosereels.com/accesso...ay-nozzle-set/

Forgive my lack of presentation skills and goofy attire. My obviously unscripted video still gets the point across. At least I think it does. Grab some popcorn and feel free to mock and poke fun.
