Can't say a bad thing about Porsche North America and warranty claims. Since I had the car the folks at PCNA have been generous and open minded in connection with two claims for my car. The only problem is getting past the first folk I spoke to on the phone at 1800PORSCHE. It appears that their job is to get you to give them your VIN and mileage and then to tell you to call your dealer. Once you get past the cubicle folks to the desk and office folks, it's a different experience, they listened and then worked with my dealer to provide a fair and equitable outcome.
I've dealt with other manufacturer for clients and on my own behalf, this is the first manufacturer (in my experience) who provided someone who's jobs is something more than to politely say "no." The seem to actually care. I've owned the 991 since June 2012.

. Same experience here.
Why would you even have to go to PCNA for a new car under warranty? Shouldn't the dealer be your advocate and be on your side and deal with them on your behalf? Just curious what issues you have had?
Can't discuss specifics but few if any service managers are persuasive enough. Suffice to say that the service to be provided at Porsche expense represents an update to a major system for parts not performing up to my standards. I prefer to advocate on my own behalf. I'm satisfied and have a good relationship with my dealer

The porsche NA reps have been great help to me in the past! It says good things about PCNA!
Dealers can be a little slippery from time to time and the folks at Porsche seem to have some sway with them.

They are caught between Porsche and the customer.
