Tipo 33 Stradale.... Porsche vs Alfa Romeo = German "form follows function" vs Italian "form follows function".... Germans can never ever win that!

Eventhough I really like the 991 Targa and also the original Targa, they don't even come close to the Alfa Romeo's flair, soul and beauty.

Back on-topic.
The taillights of the 991.2 are not visible, so no one can like or dislike them yet. What you see is just camouflage. Expect taillights more in the line of the Macan's 3D design. I like the new rear panel below the rear window, without the louvres. Always thought that it was the weakest part of the 991 design.
Not sure about the front fascia... Looks OK-ish, but maybe in a different color it looks better. Not a fan of the exhausts though.

Agree!

Good to know on the tail lights. Looking at the mock up car more closely it is a Frankencar and probably not what the final product will look like. Rear diffuser and pipes look like the 981 GTS currently. When they tested the Targa they used a covering over the Targa hoop to make it look like a cab ( I think it was made of Alacantra ) so perhaps the whole thing is an attempt to throw speculators way off. Perhaps it's not a Targa at all.

Hopefully they don't do what GM did which is to make the rear lights similar across product lines (vette and camaro) which I think takes away from the uniqueness of either car.

Yeah don't really like the rear view of it, and the engine cover.. I admit the current 991 cover feels a bit plastic and a little flimsy to me, but I think it generally looks nice.. Hoping this is just a hack job for test....

I'd also agree the Alcatra roof or whatever that is messes up the optical of the overall offline of the car...

twodan is on a distinguished road
Not a fan of any Black Edition or black wheels for that matter. If this car was given to me, I'd trade it. Guess that's why there are buttons on old radios.
