I'm going to gather that you'd like to stay within the OEM realm. But, I would start with these guys. They may have a pretty good idea what's involved or might be able to steer you in the right direction.

There is an important difference between Porsche's Bi-Xenon and LED headlights. The latter are equipped with PDLS+ which uses a camera, mounted in the rearview mirror and GPS data to operate the LED units.
Theoretically, it might be possible, but it's not as easy as old units out and new units in...

Thanks for the info. Forgot about that aspect of them. Would be very cost prohibitive if it was possible.

Doing a switch over doesn't seem realistic.

I would be interested in this as well, but for the reasons Suzy stated I just do not think it would be worth it. Maybe in a few more years the aftermarket will have some options but I do not see this as a plug and play now.

Suzy btw I see you sold your Boxster S. Just using the Audi for DD activity. Any plans for another toy?

The Audi is indeed my DD. Not a replacement for the Boxster, but as a new 'toy' I've got a 1975 Alfa Romeo Montreal , although it's now in the Netherlands with my uncle. He will rebuild the engine completely and upgrade the brakes and suspension. Next spring I expect to drive around on the mountain passes
I don't know what is gonna replace the Boxster yet...
