Doorsill ding fix?
#2
I don't see why a PDR shop couldn't do that, but I assume the sill cover would have to be removed first.
I imagine a replacement piece would be pretty dear.

My keys just dropped on the sill while door was open
Lesson learned for me..gotta be careful with Aluminium

Seriously? You dropped your keys on the door sill and it dented like that? It may be time for Porsche to back off a bit on its lightening of the car parts to save fuel. That is just ridiculous.

I replaced my doorsills with the extended aluminum version. They were supposed to come with the car but it would have delayed the build so Porsche provided them to me after delivery. The original units are very difficult to remove as the have that 3M type adhesive attaching them to the body. I ruined the original parts removing them, pretty much bent from the force it takes. It's possible there may be another trick to removal but not so much from what I could see.
Sorry to hear.

Definitely annoying; hope you can fix it. Otherwise minor and one of the things that only you'll notice and look for. I have one on my other car, and it is scratched beyond reason. I just chalk it up to the being there to be scuffed, etc. If it's an expensive fix, I'd leave it until it gets dinged up more before replacing.
