Allow me to introduce myself. I've lurked here off and on from the "other" forum and finally joined.
I purchased my 2012 C2S last June. It was about 26 months old with 7,500 miles and very nicely equipped (PDK, full two-tone leather, Bose, heat & ventilated seats, PASM, PSE, etc.). Since then I've rolled up another 7,500 miles driving it from St. Louis, using it regularly including two DE's and and a solo road trip to southern Utah, Zion NP specifically. I Took the long way home from Zion, up hwy 89 to hwy 12 through Escalante and on to Torrey. There's an unbelievable 50 mile, or so, section that twists, turns, rises and falls across an amazing landscape. In November it was virtually deserted. If you haven't driven it, take your P-car there sometime. Unforgettable.
I sold a mildly hot-rodded '89 Carrera (that I should have kept) just prior to finding this car in St. Louis and driving it home. What a great car, it has only one fault--my wife loves it! My first two Porsche's she didn't like that well, especially the '89, but this one she loves to drive.
The car's a knockout. It's luxurious but then tears around like its hair's on fire. I love it!
Here are a couple pictures of my road trip, including one near the beginning of the twisties on 12.

Nice road trip one I would like to take someday. How much loose gravel (paint chippers} is there on route 12?

Wanderfalke--It's a clean road with decent sized shoulders. I was there in early November so there were very few cars but, in season, it gets enough traffic to keep it clean. I hadn't been on it for more than 15 years when I drove with my family in my wife's M-B SUV--in which case I enjoyed the view.
