It's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. You have a highly optioned car with expensive aftermarket items on it. It will take time to wait for the right buyer willing to pay you even a portion of the options. Here's what I suggest for cars like your. It can take many months to find that one buyer that wants the car like you have it set up. Been there, done that.

Run it by Car Max for a quote. That's your bottom dollar you can always get for it. Also by the Porsche dealer as a wholesale buy from them (they will be right at Mannheim auction prices). Once you are done being dazed by those quotes, anything above them is gravy.

Were I to make a guess, I'd say the CarMax and Porsche dealer will be around $ 85K, and a private party sale you might touch $ 100K. but that's just a guess.

CarMax is a stretch. They offered $65,000 on my 2013 C2S and $70,500 on a friend's 2013 C2S with PowerKit. You're much better off taking a dealer's offer over CarMax for Porsches.

What are you in the market for? Only reason I ask is that your car is very special and you may not get what you are looking for...I think the replacement would have to be pretty damn good to let that 4S go....

I sold my AM exhaust separately, put the stock back on and then sold the car. Sold the AM rims and winter wheels separately as well. Financially worked to pretty well. It Was a better deal in the end. the only AM mod I left on the car was an escort built in radar. Something most newbies even know about. Most private sales will not appreciate your AM work. Yes a few people will, but those people are reading this forum and may not necessarily be the ones looking at the car. Dealers certainly won't appreciate the AM stuff.

I have done this enough times where I felt like the loss was not worth the next car I was driving so maybe think twice. Then again, if money is no object the final sale number will not be too big of a deal.

good luck.

Exactly. I have a habit of over-customizing my cars and motorcycles. Or did in the past....now I only do it if I have no intention of selling that particular vehicle, you just can't recover the options and farkles.

Last fall I sold my BMW K1600GTL that had over $ 10K worth of accessories on it. I tried for a month to sell the bike fully loaded for $ 22K. No bites. So I took everything off it and put it back to stock, sold the bits and pieces for $ 7K, and the bike for $ 18.K. Made $ 3K more back on the deal that way and it sold fast in stock form, as did all the aftermarket stuff.

My 2014 991S has all the stock stuff nicely in storage in the basement. When the time comes, the HRE wheels and Tubi exhaust comes off as well as all the other farkles and the car will go back to 100 % as delivered from the factory, the cool bits for sale here and on Rennlist!

You have a very special car that will take a very special buyer to see the full value to you. A big dealership is more likely to have a buyer as they have the clientele that may be looking for such a car. I would begin by going to Herb Chambers and see what they say about a sale or consignment since you do have the extended warranty so they don't have to certify it. The only thing hurting the value is the mileage but if I owned it I would be driving all the time as well. Please let us know when you actually put it on the market and the price.

I think there is some good advice here and you have a well optioned car with a bit of aftermarket as well. Between the extended warranty and clear bra on the entire car I can't imagine not selling private party to get top dollar. With that said here is a snap shot from Manheim recently.

If you are ever worried about resale you keep the options to a minimum on the 911s. This was advice I got directly from my PCar guy I bought from. You just don't get any money for the options.

That being said I have seen cars like the OP for sale in the mid 80K range.

That's a great question. I'm not in the market for another car. I just bought the red one below.

Your point is well taken and right on. IMO, it's really hard to find something that can match the dual personality of a 4S. The comfort and power available is awesome, that's why I bought the 4S.

I got a chance to buy a very special GT3 and jumped on it. Having said that the GT3 does not have the same creature comforts as the 4S.

If I decide sell the 4S it will be at the top end of the market. I will likely replace it with a Jeep for winter duty eventually.

Porsche Extended Warranty?

I am curious about the 7 year/100k Porsche extended warranty. I would like to obtain a similar one on my next new Porsche, but did not think that it was possible. Was the car a nearly new CPO purchase?

No. I custom ordered the car from a local Porsche dealer. They offered me the warranty from Porsche and I took it.

Exactly correct, +1, ditto, etc.

My 991S was also unique although not so highly optioned. I tried to sell it for two months, got no action, so I finally traded it in and it's still sitting on the dealer lot two months later. They keep dropping the price, and now they'll be lucky to get what they gave me for it plus CPO costs. So I feel better about trading it. FWIW.

My salesman bought a 991 the same color as my 991S, with a manual like mine, which came in a month after mine. My car had full leather, premium, his did not. He sold it through the dealership for not much less than what my "S" is going for (unsold). We get screwed on these options (I consider the "S" an option) big time on resale. That's why I ordered my A6 with no options. Zip. And if I ever buy another new 911, I'll order it stripped as well.

Blah, blah, blah, my post was all about me, and I didn't answer the OP's question.

What's it worth? $85K on a good day. More like $80K, realistically.

I saw it randomly come up in my EBAY app @ http://ebay.to/1LGcTr2 . It sounds like you do not have to sell it, so I would just enjoy it. It is a beautiful car with an extended warranty and well optioned but 117k is not realistic. The high price for this car is 85-90.
