When I put in my car in Tirerack.com - it give me the same tires sizes as mentioned. Also, my car in a Turbo S.

The only difference I see is that it is showing me the N-Spec which has a different tread pattern. Thoughts on this....Thanks.

If you are looking at the Michelins they may be the older design. Mine are an N-O which means this is the first generation of this design. If they redesign for next year they will be called N-1 and so-on. I would check what these are - could be old stock?

I got mine through the dealer installed and balanced for less than I could have going the Tirerack route. They just got these in new for this year.

One thing to note for black wheels is the dealer used black weights for balancing rather then the galvanized color which IMO wouldn't look right. But I think any tire shop can order these in if you ask for them.

On Tirerack is says the "n-spec" are specifically designed for Porsche.

My dealer in the suburbs of Chicago wanted $1800+ for the Pirelli Winters + $600 to mount and balance.

Wow. Thats steep. Especially the mount and balance. Can you PM me the name of the dealer? Just curious. I live in Highland park.

I have a 2015 GTS w 5 lug. I bought a set of the pirellis w 19" starke wheels, mounted w TPMS from tire rack for ~$2700 delivered to my door. Despite being cheap, the wheels really aren't bad at all. Just as nice as the Victor Equipment Badens I ran on my panamera turbo as winters.

My dealer has spec'd the winter tires in 295 width even for 111/2" wheels. Their price was $32 lower than Tire Rack as well. This is apparently a fitment approved by Porsche.
I could have gotten Michelins or Pirellis. I chose the Michelin like many of you here.

Thanks all for your help!

Happy to hear you got this sorted out. Make sure you post up some pics of your car once you get some snow.

It was Napelton in Westmont. I am having Willow Automotive change the tires next Tuesday.

Don't know if you are dr. Shah omfs but we met through dr. Sharma once. Anyway Napleton is not a trustworthy place and I will never return there.

You will find much more honesty in Orland park or a local shop for tired and wheels which is a pretty easy job.

Good luck.
