Looking for more bass response from Bose in a Cab??? Ideas??
 

Hi folks

I have a 2015 GTS Cab with the Bose system and it's horrid. My 997 at least had some bass. This one does not. I made huge improvements by using a 10 band EQ app on my ipod called Equ, but still the stock speakers are crap.

All I need is a little more bump. The rest of it is OK. It's a cab after all.

I want to find a drop in replacement for the stock low frequency driver if such a thing exists. If not I might tuck one of those little Kenwood KSC-SW11 powered subs behind the drivers seat.

Any input?

Fortunately my 2013 991S Cab has a Bermester. You want punch? This thing thumps.

i redid the whole system and it made a huge improvement.

Morel speakers, 2 class A amps and a custom sub in the passenger foot well fitted flush to the center console as not to lose much space.
