Clear Tail Light Swap on a C4 or C4S

Hi....I was thinking of swapping my tail lights for clear ones on my C4 but then I was told I would have to remove the rear bumper to install the middle light. Has anyone done this? Thank you for any replies.

yes. i did this swap ( looks great). Side lites swap easy but center light has bolts that attach underneath the bumper. removing bumper required. to swap center light.

What color cars do you have? Mine is Basalt and was thinking of doing this, but not sure it will look right. I've seen them on white and red 991's and it looks pretty sweet.

Jet Black Metallic is my paint color. I figure all the other lenses on the car are clear and I googled pics and it looks good. I just don't think I am going to do this since it requires the rear bumper removal.
