Perfection: You just achieved it.

Awesome ride ;)

Thanks guys.

Now I just need to drive it more!

Still too early to give any quality feedback and still breaking her in and keeping revs low.

Here's what I can say...

1) the car feels so much more "alive" and responsive. everything feels much more alert. For those of you that have driven bmw M cars that had the "M" button, it almost feels like that magnified 2 or 3x. I can definately tell there is a ton of power waiting to be unleashed. The difference is much more noticable than any other power upgrade I've had done on a car including going from stock to a stage II 996 twin turbo. And I believe most of the improvement from the RUF upgrade comes over 4.5K RPM.

2) the car is incredibly smooth. acceleration feels effortless and so composed. there are no power spikes - almost like a NA car.

3) I got rid of the muffler bypasses and put on some fabspeed freeflow exhausts. The car is much quieter, but I like it. Sport cats make it louder than stock.

4) there is a nice rumble and shake at idle. It's subtle but nice. I can't quite explain it but very cool. I think it could be the cams?

To this point I haven't taken revs up past 5k, but the power is incredible between 4 and 5. A totally different animal. I haven't experienced acceleration like this in any other car and I can't wait until I can really let her rip!

The best part, is the car is just so driveable and smooth and comfortable and useable. I guess that's the magic of RUF.

Oh and I love the brakes. even though I have yet to really put them to use, the pedal feel is awesome.

I'll provide additional driving impressions as I rack up more miles

Typically not a huge fan of vanity plates, but couldn't resist...

Too funny, Kevin! I was going to grab that plate when I got my "RUF". I originally got "RUF PEPR" and drove with that plate for a while, then I settled on "DAKARA", which is the name of the RUF conversion for the Cayenne Turbo.

Well, I bet we'll all agree, you definitely GOT RUF!

Cannoli,

I was also thinking of RED RUF. But that was too close to RED RUM. Gave me the creeps.

GOT RUF... iut could be a question or a statement... :)

What a clean and gorgeous 993 Turbo and then Ruf  As it should be. Carrera GT seats as well :D

This is what a Turbo R engine kit did to a BMW M6
