993 TT with 997 TT
#3
Always wondered this myself. 993TT is a bucket list car.
Some say, you shouldn't drive you Hero cars (obviously the older ones compared to newer).
I wonder if I'd be unimpressed after my 997TTS and older 996TT

I own both a 600hp 993TT and a 1000Hp 997TT (both engine built and chassis upgraded)
The 993 is more visceral as shorter and less perfect than the 997.
I love the both and sometimes take one in the morning and the other one in the evening (weekend cars); I never felt disapointed by the 993.
I also run my ex 964T sometimes and the chassis and direction feel a bit "heavy" vs the 993, the engine response is nothing to compare as well, very laggy.

I did this yesterday. The 993 (MT) was easily the most fun I've had driving. Wow. The one I drove was immaculate, and I am going to buy it. I may even get rid of the 997. My 997 has incredible raw power and speed. The 993 is slightly smaller, and just handles so well. I was afraid of turbo lag, but I honestly think there's more in my 997, upgrades included.
Anyway, they are different enough from one another that you will not be comparing per se. Just. wow!

I own a 400whp 97 993tt and a 600whp 07 997tt. The 993tt feels like your favorite comfortable old sneakers. There's nothing flimsy about it. The fully framed front doors have a more solid feel than the 997 doors. I drive both and never regret grabbing either. Different but equal in terms of rewarding to drive
