Here's mine. Hey, I didn't think anyone on this board cared about 993s anymore! :)
Super D, that is one of the nicest 993s that I have seen in a long time. Post some more pics of it! It has a badass GT2 look to it without the tacky bolted on fender flares. It certainly looks a lot more bad ass than the 996 C4S. One word, "SMOOTH!"

IMHO, 993s are the best looking 911s out there. They have all of the curves in just the right places, especially the S bodies and Turbo. I think the way the rear curves down and meets the bumper with a thin strip of lights and red reflector at the rear really sets off the rear nicely. The reflector was a nice addition to the 996 C4S but sadly it won't be appearing again on the 997 C4S.

Nick, if you are out there , I hope you were paying close attention there. That is the proper way to make an opinionated statement on this board. "IMHO, 993s are the best looking 911s out there.". Did you notice that I didn't refer to anyone as "pansies" or make fun of anyone's $150k+ ride?

hilarious

Hey thanks. ;)

I didn't want an awd, so last year I hunted for my two favorite old-school targets---'94 turbo 3.6 and '97 C2S. I couldn't find a turbo 3.6 that didn't have "stories" (bad ones), but I did find several nice C2S's that were very nice.

This one had been owned by an open wheel racer and then a collector before me, and it'd been taken care of very well. The first owner added a factory Turbo S lid/wing and front lip as well as H&R springs. He also swapped the stock wheels for 8" and 10" Supercups, but I sold those in favor of these HRE's with 11" in the rear to run the same tire/wheel setup as the current 996 twins (225/295). I have plans for a set of track wheels and will run 235 up front and 315 in the rear. :)

I've had black, silver, red and white cars, and I opted for white in this case because it reminds me so much of the racing "RS" models old and new. Although, I believe most of them were Grand Prix White, as opposed to Glacier White, like mine is. Glacier is the whitest white I've ever seen--very cold and seems like it has a little tint of blue in it. Sitting next to a regular white car in my garage, it made the other car look very dull by comparison.

I always loved the widebodies, including that last 964 turbo and the 993 S. I just didn't realize how much others did as well.

I'm hoping to do some serious suspension upgrades, as well as some power tweaks. I have to admit, I'd really love to get another 100hp out of this car. With rwd and old-school handling, it'd be really fun. I even did some research about swapping the motor or doing a turbo conversion. I've seen it done, but it's very expensive. At that point, it's hard not to think about looking for a good used GT3! :D

No new pics to post, but I promise I will soon as I get a chance.
