What's the easiest way to lower my car???
Hey guys:
What's the easiest(cheapest) way to lower my car about 2 inches? It's a 98 993C2S. By the way, this is just for looks. I'm not planning on tracking or driving the car too hard. Just need to drop the SUV height. |
How about some H & R springs?

Sadly, I know nothing about suspensions. I've always kept my other cars in stock height and put big fat wheels on them. |
The right way? PSS9's or JIC/Cross coilovers.
H&R springs will do the job, but will not really improve the performance of the car. |
I was looking at the JIC's and actually Dan at vividracing gave me a sweet price on them...but I got a ****in wedding coming up and that wedding **** (i mean stuff) gets expensive really fast.
I think the H& R will do the trick for now. Like I said, I'm not really going to need it for performance...just for when I "cruise 5 miles an hour so everybody sees me...I got on sneaks but I need a new pair because basketball courts in the summer got girls there". |

I believe the H & R can go from 1.5 - 2.0 in. drop. But yes this will be only from appearance purposes if you want to improve the handling mainly for track use you need to change the shock absorbers , springs and some other suspension components and also the wheels and tires for better weight distribution .

M030 RoW springs with Bilstein HD's ... throw in the M030 sways 'while you're in there'. :D
