25 rear offset?

My 996 is lowered with the x73. I'm considering 19" techarts with offsets of 25 rear, 40 fronts. I'm told the 25 rear will require a rolled fender. Anyone have such an aggressive rear set up? Do you like? Pics? Thanks. GBG

What is the tire size and diameter? What is the present ride height of the car? What are the camber settings?

Thanks for the reply guys. Here are the wheels I'm considering:

TechArt Formul
8.5x19” ET40 28 lbs. 7 oz.
11x19” ET25 32 lbs. 10 oz.

My car is lowerd with X73, but I don't know the exact ride height. No idea of the camber. Sorry I don't have all the info you need, but whatever adivice you can offer is appreciated. GBG

back is very very aggressive. unlikely to work IMHO even with fender rolling. i just went through all this.

here are my thoughts:

- stock gt2 rears is 12x19" ET 45. and they come with rolled fenders
- HRE recommends a 11x19" ET35 for non rolled fenders
- your wheels with the offsets you descirbed extend out an additional 7mm past the gt2 and 10mm past the HRE recommended wheels.

besides those are heavy wheels!

hope that helps.

That's very helpful, thanks Bteksler. Wheel Enhancement thinks a rolled rear fender would work, but I'm not sure I like the look anyway.

Here are 2 pics with a 25 rear set up (not my cars), but I don't think these cars are as low as mine, and the shots are not a great angle.

that also looks like it just simply extends past the wheel well. so if you car is lowered it would likely rub.
