Scratched my wheel

I am in process of detailing my 2003 X50 Turbo. I have 2005 Turbo S GT silver metallic wheels on it. I was taking each wheel off to clean them and to clean the brakes and the wheel wells. While I was cleaning the wheel it fell over and scratched up the wheel in the middle of the spokes. Im so upset. Dammit !! Does anyone have a new or like new front Turbo S wheel. What is the best way to fix it? The car has 7500 miles and it is perfect in every way. I just bought a Turbo S Cab. I an getting ready to sell the car and need the wheel fixed ASAP. Please let me know if anyone can help

Thanks
Brad

Sorry to hear what happend, Brad. The same thing happened to me! I took my rim to a MOD/body/rim shop and they buffed it out for me. It looks as good as new. They only charged $75.00 for the entire process. Hmm...Not sure if that's a good deal or not, but it was way worth it to me verses buying an entire new rim.

Good Luck!

Most wheel and tire shops can refinish the wheel for a very resonable charge. It won't be a big deal to have done.

Wink

Usually there is a wheel guy that comes around to the high end dealerships. Contact your dealer's service dept. I take my scratches to my local Mercedes store, the guy is there every Thursday.
