What do you think of painted rear center console?

What he ^ said. Typically ok with it on the silver, gray, black etc., not so much on the yellow, red, etc. Also, they start to look REALLY bad when they chip or scratch.

I think it makes the interior too distracting, cf is even worse distracting and cheesy. too shiney and slick makes everything look greasy. I love the look of the resin yellowing and faux cf peeling and cracking. but, hey you asked.

Mine is midnight blue - I think it breaks up the monotony of the natural black interior. I also have the carbon steering wheel and center dash frame in carbon. I would never do it this way if I had a lighter color interior, though...then it would look horrible.

Mine has the full console painted. At first I wasn't too fond of it but it's grown on my quite a bit. With the yellow stitching and Yellow painted seat backs it flows quite a bit better than I initially thought and doesn't look quite as boring as some of my friends all black interiors.

Wow..that is really shiny. If I were to paint, I would do only the rear center console, otherwise it will be overdone IMHO. But, thanks for sharing the picture, it gives me a good idea how it would look like with the upper console painted as well.

I think it looks good but I didn't want any of the other parts painted. To me, it's supposed to look like parts of the interior are not carpeted. They are easily nicked and scratched, though. It's not a huge problem.
