Looks Like 997's are going come with 19's?
 
There has been so much conversation on this subject I thought some of you might find this interesting (if you haven't seen it yet.) It's a factory 997 which isn't too much different from a 996 with 19's.. never say never :)

Same setup as mine. I wonder what tire manufacturer will provide the tires?

the 997 is designed to fit 19''. not 996s.

Ditto, Just because the two cars look similiar doesnt mean that the 996 is designed for a 19" application, the 997 will be from the manufacturer, 18" is a perfect application for the 996.

I actually messed up when I wrote 996 ... tried to change it to 997 but, it was too late... sorry. I'm sure the geometry of the two cars are very similar if not the same. Looks like they are just running a taller over all package. So if that exact tire and wheel combo has the same offset and clears your fenders ... it should work.

cary, glad to see you here posting b/c been trying to find out about your car! i have been trying to find out the specs on your tt or gt2, but to no avail!! i love that your car looks strictly business with no silly bling bling on it. looks like 18" bbs centerlocks, widened front fenders......what has been done to it???? please enlighten! ;-)
