Cracked up front end

This is what $8500 in damage looks like. Someone in front of me started to merge onto a expressway from "proceed when safe" side street and then changed her mind. Meanwhile I looked left to do the same. She stopped I didn't. CRUNCH!!!!!

Crash is an unknown quantity at this point
So, whose fault was it? Any internal damage?

RS -

Nooooooooo! Sorry to see what happened!!!! I know how much you love that car.

I've been meaning to give you a call anyway so that we can hook up for lunch some time. You know how work is though......

I'll send you an e-mail.

Again, my condolences.

My fault. Luckily the air bags did not go off. I was going less then 5 MPH when I hit her backend.

Looks like the 5mph stuff worked. Your radiators seem ok

Sorry about the accident and glad you're ok...

That sucks. Maybe this is an opportunity to go with a GT2 bumper/tail. Just an idea.

There was radiator and condensor damage so they will be replaced with new.

I seriously gave the GT2 thing some thought but I like the OEM look. I planned on upgrading the engine with those funds anyway. I like the stage 2 but as we all know when it comes to speed... you always need more.

The exterior mods are nice and believe me I seen some great looks from the guys in N. Cal but Mama can't see the engine mods so it's a little easier to slide by.

When my wife asks about something new on my car I just say
"that was on there when I bought it" It"ll work a couple of times.
But don't push your luck.

Initially I bought a 2001 Carrera 2 AS/black. Within 3 weeks I traded it in for the TT. To this day my wife thinks it's the same car. That was over 3 years ago. My wife is not a big car buff. Just drives them. I clean them and care for them. She didn't even notice the wheel change either and that was 4 months ago.

Of course that's when I had tons of option money in my Charles Schwab account. I yearn for the early 2001 days.
