It's supposed to rain through next Tuesday... so...
I decided this as good of time as any to wash and wax my car that it needs so badly.
I have the middle of the day off (9-3) then I go to being Mr. Mom while my wife whoops it up in Colorado through Sunday. Well, since I had limited time to myself, I wanted to do something, but the weather sucked too bad to do anything fun, so I got creative. I wanted to play golf, but was afraid of lightning. This picture doesn't do justice to the ugliness of the weather... (I'm a horrible photographer) http://www.snjvogan.com/tt/garage_backyard.jpg My driveway looked like this http://www.snjvogan.com/tt/garage_driveway.jpg So how do I wash and wax the car? Stupid rain! http://www.snjvogan.com/tt/garage_washed3.jpg Hehe... notice the golf cart that can't go anywhere... (I'm so bummed) http://www.snjvogan.com/tt/garage_washed.jpg Looks so nice clean... now to wax over the next few days during my daughter's naps, etc. :) http://www.snjvogan.com/tt/garage_washed2.jpg |
what kind of batteries you got in the golf cart :o
car is lookin good :) |
Is that a golf course in your back yard?
|
There are 8 batteries in that cart. It moves pretty quickly. I think it hits 18 mph in 3 seconds!
It runs the quarter in about 1:20 seconds and traps at 18 mph! Yes, that's a golf course, but before the fairway is a large greenbelt so it's hard to tell. :) |

Since you say you have 8 I'm assuming you have a 48 volt system w/ 8 6 volts. Loose some weight and ditch it to 6 8 volt batteries. Sorry i'm a golf cart junkie. My Grandfather and his dad and brother helped event the first electric golf cart. www.trojanbattery.com Pack the maroon or go home packing ;) I just got this golf cart mag at work and they have golf cart races in daytona, FL every year. They do things like mud bogging, figure 8's, oval track and a 1/4 mile. Some guy hit a high 13 w/ an electric cart and some dude is in the 11's w/ a gas one  hilarious! |
OMG... LOL
I thought you were just teasing. I don't know anything about my cart other than the 8 batteries and the top speed. :) Maybe I should get into racing it too!? |
