I'm still trying to nail it down. The dealer said that the first reply from the factory was Jan '05. Later they received a piece of correspondence that indicated Jan-Dec '05???

Beats me. The dealer promised to press for a better answer sometime this week.

that seems wierd mike. i have an exact date for build and i'd think you should too. and, late 05 cars could be suspect according to this so it could be very important as to whether it's an early or late 05 build:
