You really should go out there! Take it easy first time. I sure did... It's very humbling

sharkster,
Now imagine PSM with no throttle body shutdown.

hehe, sure thing man
I felt awful myself, but I wasn't tired. Yeah, there's just something fun about that BOV man, can't explain it

awesome - i much prefer pics of filthy TTs in ACTION on the track vs spotless garage queens parked in a ACed garage w/ 10 coats of wax.

? I do wish it was an "on"/"off" switch you know? Instead of being "on" and then "off" but still "on" when it gets PMS and turns the PSM on again...

Alex and I had sore arms that day from having to let so many people pass.

blunt, so you had that Supra. Nice ride.
sharky, keeping doing it and it'll get better real soon. That is one thing I like about my Turbo, no PSM

You're so right about the PSM. It's great on the street and during nasty conditions don't get me wrong.. but with AWD already, I didn't enjoy the PSM kicking in and taking over....
Sil's car with a few more tweaks is going to be even more geared for the track. As it was, it's basically been set up for massive HP and straight line speed so it was really good to see him get out there.
I forgot to mention that Hunpin of www.unlimitedlaps.com set up a really great event. I thanked him then and just wanted to add that he's organizing the event that Fred is putting together in August so all of you norcal 6speeders should sign up if you can...
PS Hunpin, that was nice of you to set me up with Chris!

I'm so darn timid out there. It's going to take me some time, that's for sure.

When we went off, my other instructor was driving and was like "Ah **** I'm sorry, the damn PMS". I know it has AWD but damn it's not good off road, that was one rough ride lol...
Alex,
Ain't it great!!!!????
I have been tracking forever and I love it! I was very interested to see that you got "Low Brake Fluid" warnings as well. I kept getting them even though the fluid was topped up.
What is up with that? I couldn't figure it out!!!

It sure is Ken! I wish I had as much experience as you.. but I'll get there some day
You got it too eh? Well we have two things in common then... we both have upgraded brakes. What fluid were you using? I was using Motul, which has a higher boiling temp than the stock stuff. I keep thinking that the sensor is set to go off at a certain temp with the stock fluid in mind but other than that why are we both getting the warning? My instructor got it in his car too with his PCCB's and Motul...
