There's a New Exhaust Available

Hi all.
I had used Race Precision for some of my Noble's modifications and was so impressed with their products and service that I thought I would give their new 996TT exhaust a try. I'm sure glad I did. I just finished installing it and I was so pleased I thought I would pass it along to anyone thinking about upgrading their exhaust. I was really impressed with the quality of construction and I like the fact that it is made here in the US. After taking it for its first road test, the nice throaty sound and the increased responsiveness of my car just blew me away. My car is totally stock except for the new exhaust. It used to have some hesitation with the stock exhaust, but with the RPI exhaust, it is now so much more responsive that it acts like I just added a power chip compared to the way it used to drive. It's a terricfic product and RPI is a pleasure to deal with,IMHO. You can check it out here: http://shoprpi.com/product_info.php?...70f5ba6828122b Here are some pictures I took of mine after I installed it: |
Looks great. Any resonance? Performance data available?

I was able to find these videos that RPI took on one of their customer's cars that has their exhaust:

You'll have to talk to RPI about the specifics, but I was talking to them yesterday about how pleased I was and they said they just had a customer come in yesterday with a Remus exhaust system. They dyno'd it with that system and then installed the RPI system and dyno'd it again. The RPI system produced 15whp more than the Remus system. I don't know anything about Remus, but if Remus is considered a good system, that may give you some idea of how it performs. RPI sent me these pictures before I received it, so you can get a better feel for the quality and finish: |
How much was the exhuast? The tips look like they are welded. Looks great:cool:

Everything is TIG welded and very nicely done in polished T304 stainless. RPI is right in your back yard. You should pay them a visit and check it out. |
Switzer!!

I like it! My main concerns are CEL lights and resonance.
Group buy anyone? :) |

Group buy anyone? :) You should give RPI a call and see if they can do a group buy. I bet they would. I think they have a good supply on hand right now. |
Love the tips
