Have you driven George's (ICS) Mcoupe? It has a CM FX700 in it and Dave told me its super on-off and sucked when he got caught in some traffic with it. I know it isnt the same, but that clutch isnt rated as high as the one you mention and I can only imagine what the one you mention would feel like with the additional capacity.

Obviously its kinda the nature of the beast, as to hold alot of power it cant necessarily feel like OEM, but it doesnt need to feel miserable.

Hi, The twin disc splits the load a cross two discs instead of one, Witch in turn uses half the clapping force to hold the same power! People use twin set ups to lower the force needed to push the clutch in. Same goes for the triple set ups( 1/3 the force needed for same power)..... Hope this helps, Tim

I have the triple disc Carbonetics clutch and is awesome. It is rated at 1000HP and costs just under $4000. I have the 11.3lb flywheel.

Ironically I just placed an order for the twin disk a few minutes ago.... I need a more 1/4 type of a clutch and my sources say this will do the job.
With that said, if anyone is interested in my ATS triple carbon- with a new never intalled refresh kit( new floater plates and a new custom made 1400 Kg pressure plate) -stock is 1100 kg.... please let me know... Im willing to let it go for half the price and a 100 % guarantee. If you dont like it I will refund all the money. The clutch has 2 visits to the 1/4 track and a total of 2200 miles on it.
I also have the GT2 clutch conversion Evoms kit if anyone is interested.
Mark
