I've heard it's not that hard to do. I'm not sure, but someone told me to just run a butter knife along the edge. I would love to remove them and have them carbon fibered. Can anyone chime in and confirm this?

Step 1: Remove, upper, center cushion. Pull up and out. There are three tabs that hold it in place.

Make a note where each fastner is located that holdd the leather in place on the seatback. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3080/...ffd409.jpg?v=0 Step 4: Leather bolster totally removed http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3101/...01c8f2.jpg?v=0 http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3177/...df95d9.jpg?v=0 Step 5: Unhook the leather from the inside clips that hold it to the frame http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3174/...b2d841.jpg?v=0 Step 6: Pull out the seat back tilt tabs http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3007/...9e1b5c.jpg?v=0 |
Step 7: Unscrew the screw, 4 total and 2 on each side, that hold the seat back to the frame
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3268/...ce334c.jpg?v=0 Step 8: Gently remove the seatback from the frame. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3045/...e9315b.jpg?v=0 http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3077/...bff47f.jpg?v=0 Step 9: Remove the leather stowl from the seatback Step 10: Prep and Paint the seatback.
