finally got the car dyno'd

had the car strapped to a dyno jet

we did 3 pulls

i didnt really want to wait forever, as i wanted a rough estimate as to where my car is..

and..

94 degree weather
humid as hell
NOT A SINGLE FAN TO DIRECT AIR INTO THE INTERCOOLERS
4th gear pull
3 pulls, all within a few hp of eachother (no cool down, just stopped the car and went at it again)

.
.
.
.
490 at the rear wheels
1.1 bar
im EXTREMELY happy

if it had been a normal day, and i would have let the car cool down, and had proper air flow, i would have been over 500 at the wheels

pretty happy with the results
do you guys think with a BMC filter i should see more power ?

what parts are you running? don't you have a ap intake?

markski@markskituning Jun 11, 2008 10:58 PM

whats the point of doing it if you do not have proper fans...

Onetime Jun 11, 2008 10:58 PM

490, that's sweet. What kind of dyno?

93 octane

markski
when i got there, at the last minute we found out they didnt have enough fans
so i said, screw it, lets do a few pulls anyway

Good result.

1.1 bar seems a little high on pump, but then again I'm just conservative.

Seal Grey Matte Jun 12, 2008 11:30 AM

Did you do a baseline pull on the stock program?

mannytt Jun 12, 2008 12:55 PM

good #'s for it being as warm as it was, and no fans

Green Turbo Jun 12, 2008 01:53 PM

what mods do you have?

jimmer23 Jun 13, 2008 01:29 PM

Steve, next time it's that hot and you don't have fans, JUST WAIT and do it some other time. The turbos absolutely need airflow to the ICs. You were in dangerous territory bud, especially at 1.1bar...

DNugget991GT3 Jun 13, 2008 11:11 PM

sorry for replying so late

mods on the car are
k24 turbo's
gt 2 intercoolers
fabspeed gen 2 exhaust w/ hi flow cats
twin disc ceramic clutch
964 rsr lightweight flywheel
UMW software for 93 octane

DNugget991GT3 Jun 13, 2008 11:11 PM

seal gray
