996TT strut removal??/ Help

Anyone have a good DIY on removing the struts on a 996TT?? Help. Thanks.Wanting to switch out the springs on front and back.

Help..Im stuck in the garage trying to figure this out. So frustrating. Removed almost everything...help...hellp...help..thanks

The rears are easy, the fronts can be a *****. You need a spring compressor to make them smaller and I also found it easier to remove the front axles at the differential to allow the assembly to clear the fender. There is a DIY on Renntech.org or Rennlist. Do a search

Thanks! Finally got them off and installed the springs! ()itch of a job, but it's done!

Maybe too late but this link has the picture of how I did my car without removing the axle. It is very doable, you just need to be careful.

Thanks for the link! Those lower arms were the ones that drove me crazy. 1/2 way through the mess I was saying to myself, "Why did I start this project." Thank goodness it's done!!! Now to spend the money saved for install on another DIY MOD..
