I'm not even sure if they will have nine. It is my understanding that it will go on regardless.

It appears to be five or maybe six companies based on their above website list. It still will be interesting to see what these tuners have to offer.

Why not combine a DE type event simultaneous with the shootout so that everyone can drive the course and have fun while the "tuners" compete with their professional drivers. Registration for the "DE type" cars would be significantly less, of course, b/c we would not be getting the Excellence publicity or trying to sell a tuner product. It could be like the purebreads and hybrids.
