I am 25 miles inland...just tons of rain and 80 plus mph wind.

Galveston is destroyed and many did not evacuate.

Actually, some of my teammates went down to dive and perform body recoveries right after Katrina. Thankfully, I was out of town when that team was selected. Hopefully we won't be needed for anything like that this time.

Lots of wind damage and no power. Most importantly we are all safe.

we just got power. We lost a few trees. The house held up great. Internet is still down so I am stuck with iPhone surfing. Thanks for asking.

I'm currently in Austin right now. We do not have power/cable/etc so we left for a few days. Our house was fine, but others in the neighborhood did not fair so well. I'll post some pictures in a hour or so when I get my camera out of the race jeep LOL!

dallas was hit pretty hard yesterday with some wind and hard showers, but nothing close to South Texas.

My prayers go out to everyone and their families. Hope everyone pulls out ok...

My favorite is the roof in the tree . Kind of funny, but very scary!
