It's a peak HP best case scenario.... And I would think on a "chipped" car or something.... Running more boost with a stock exhaust vs running more boost on a freer flowing exhaust might well do that but I'm always skeptical...

I'm waiting for REMUS USA to get the dyno chart from Austria. It will take a few days. The 40 hp is their claim so please don't call "BS" on CDOC just yet. I'll post it when I get it.

Does anyone know the owner of the blue car in the photo with the lic. plate that reads " DOUBOI " ? If so, we could get a sound sample and perhaps a dyno report.

The reason some exhausts can claim 40hp gains is because the lower backpressure from the aftermarket exhaust leads to a little boost creep (i.e. where the boost goes higher than the desired amount under load). People usually see .1 BAR more than normal which is about 1.5 PSI. This in itself can lead to a gain of about 25hp at the crank.

Alex, I still think that it will take more than just a chipped car. I would say chipped + larger turbos (slightly larger than K-24s). Even then, I can't see that exhaust pulling that HP difference for reasons that I spoke about in my first post. 70mm isn't, in my opinion, a large enough pipe to flow out the increased air volume of larger turbos. Couple that with the turbulence of the resonators....
heya pal, that's actually what I was thinking/meaning. With some modded turbos and pushing more boost etc... I'm always skeptical too. But it "could" be one of those peaky numbers. Who knows. Not me, my car won't even dyno lol.

This link is for REMUS sound samples for different cars. The only Porsche is a 986, but it will give you an idea of the quality of tone they are going for.

A palet of systems has just arrived and are now ready to ship.

Remus press release was in error stating a 40 HP improvement. They are currently working on getting dyno information and will forward as soon as possible.
