Vivid Racing 650 kit installed, but dyno results were below expectations
It sounds to me like there is STILL an opportunity to get it fixed for nothing, except for travel...
Also Ken, as most would probably agree, don't get hung up on a number. It seems there are some cars that may have made 480ish to the wheels and some may have made 530ish, on pump of course. If you go to Vivid and Dan fixes everything and it only makes a safe good running 499 to the wheels, what will you do? It could happen and be no fault of Dans.

Well, if Dan guaranteed a 650 kit it should be well over 500 to the wheels and if it isn't putting that down, then I would think either refund or mod until it is putting out that or more...
How do you know that it was installed properly, already an issue with ths install of the EBC

If Vivid takes the car and works on it and they cannot get it to make power then it has nothing to do with the other installer.
Whether Ken or Dan is right does not matter, reading threads like these on 6speed only discourages enthusiast from modding (especially those from distant places)......it only tarnish the aftermarket industry.
An idea.
take some pics of the Tial WGs... the hoses... the greddy valve... etc... I want to see...

They have offered numerous times to fix at any cost, give me a break. I just installed there tune with turbos and it went very well and I can guarantee the car makes over 500hp, that's not the problem here

I disagree. This incident is not going to change anyone's mind who wants to mod. There are an overwhelming number of sucess stories regarding modding. There will be hiccups occasionally, but that happens. This tuner has made a generous offer to fix it.

Initially both Dan and Ken wanted this to work and now both of them wishes it hadn't happened.
Is Dan's expectation that he can ship these kits all over the world to P owners, (who may have no idea themselves as to what is required in terms of expertise to fit them) and then have them chose the installer, and not have screw ups like this one, flawed?
Personally, I'm not going to buy an upgrade kit until I know that somebody is going to stand up and take ownership of any problems that might occur.
you cannot guaranty anything as you have not seen "that" car. It may or may not have been an installation error, who knows, but not you nor anyone else on this thread knows for sure.

How do you figure, you have had a hard on for taking a shot at ViVid for some time. This isn't there fault. They (THE OP) installed the EBC wrong and they (VIVID) even offered to fix it for free. Get off your highhorse abour ViVid because the only ones that think they are at fault is the OP, his friend and you which really amounts to nothing IMO
Also, Dan you should answer this ?, how many turbo kits have you sold on 6Speed alone and how many issues have you had like this?

I am a walking life example, I made my mistake in trusting a so-called tuner; and when things have gone south, I am left behind. In fact, if Dan was to send his tech over here and find out the problem was not originated from the turbo kit itself and it rooted from the install or my end, I would gladly pay for the hour of work involved, flight, stay and beer as well. But that will not likely happen unless circumstances changes on vivid side.
