Vivid Racing 650 kit installed, but dyno results were below expectations

That was really nice of you to offer a $100 to help Vivid fix the problem. I also would like to see the OP with a well running car but don't feel the need to give money towards some fund when both parties are fully capable of spending the nominal amount on their own. If Vivid was 100% confident in their mechanical abilities, they would fly up to fix the car on site over a weekend. No reason to spend $3k shipping it for less than a days work. I've done this with shops I've worked with in the past, it's really quite simple when the shop wants to help the customer in a convenient way. This is a pretty simple situation and bolt-on's don't get any more simple than this kit. This has been such a PR nightmare for Dan that you would think he would have already done this to show they are the world's best parts reseller and go out of their way to make happy customers.

And Jamie, you do know that Vic in a national level bodybuilder who also trains martial arts. I think I heard that you train as well but Vic looks like a miniature Silverback Gorrilla. Since you posted that funny pic (sorry Dan, but it made me laugh) I don't want anything bad to happen to you, lol.
In any event, this thread has gotten way out of hand IMO and maybe it is time to be locked.

Is this board really about millionaires (or at least I assume/hope many of you are wealthy given what is spent on cars) challenging other people who they have never met to some grudge match over a cheap turbo kit sent to someone else they have never met? I have little sympathy. Here's why... He has been given a number of opportunities to resolve the issues by his vendor and the maker of the software. He apparently has gone from one shop to another... And is dealing with "friends" trying to help him, telling him that his isntallation is correct, but not providing proof by doing the tests recommended here, or providing the data logs requested by the software developer. It is hard for me to have sympathy when regardless who sold the product to him, the OP has simply not taken the steps to help himself.
Now, had this been any of the other "favorite" tuners out there, we'd see all those "FANS" cheer for their favorite tuner, just like many here have applauded Vivid and Softronics. I can't, for the life of me understand where anyone could point the finger back at Vivid, especially if you go back thru the thread and SEE where Dan replaced parts for FREE that the original shop apparently damaged on install, and that he has offered to resolve the issue if the car is sent to him... He even offered to remove the parts and refund the OP if he found that he could not get the results he "claims" with the kit...
Other than giving the guy a reach-around, and paying his mortgage for the next 6 months, I'm not sure how much more he could do for the guy... I mean, Come on guys... Jeez!

You gotta come down I95 to Rt.3 to head east to get over to the eastern shore... My office is a half mile from that interchange... I'll even buy you lunch.

I don't hate Dan. I never take anything personal on this board. I simply disagree with some of Dan's claims and his viral marketing approach on this board which in my opinion, prevents more knowledgeable people from posting anymore. But everyone is entitled an opinion, mine is no better than yours.

The other diff is THAT I HAD SOMEONE WHO KNOWS HOW TO WORK WITH TURBOS AND BOOST CONTROLLERS INSTALL THE KIT!
My kit is running great. Seriously, someone should buy this kit from Ken, the parts are top quality.

I believe the AFI/Agency power headers, oil cans (very nice) TIAL external wastegates, downtubes, and Direct turbo built Garrett GT (mine are 30, his are 28's) turbos, oil/waterlines are pretty much the same.
Somebody get this kit...you can upgrade to GT 30's if you decide to do a fuel system. You will have to do a little fab work to get the exhuast to fit.
