It is a great reliever for me to get this test done, first it re-assures me that the engine is still in good shape. As some are questioning the condition of the motor, and suggested my engine may already had problems before the kit was installed and hence the under performance.

.
Did they do a cylinder leak down test...or did they test for boost leaks?

The certified Porsche tech (Weissach) has installed and service numbers of EVOMS GT700. If they can handle a kit even with fuel system upgrade, I assume they're able to confirm the install with Vivid Racing 650Kit.

get the freakin car pressure tested AT the turbos and all the bull**** will come out.... trust me....
also, whoever did the isntall... including the greddy probably screwed up... PERIOD....
Pressure test the car at the turbos... block one off and pump 20 psi into the other cold side... I bet my left nut that ur issues will appear...

all the data logging in the world will not help if you have boost leaks and or something is not hooked up right...
BTW, what are the afrs reading? thats a quite indication of a boost leak...

Ken has my personal cell number and my office number. I have been mediating what I can with the tune information Softronic requires. I was gone ALL last week getting married and doing a honeymoon. Seems he still has a boost problem here. I originally told ken to just BRING me the car and I would fix all the install problems for free if he transported the car. It is hard to chase a problem from here in AZ or for Scott in CT that another shop did. We will gladly work with whomever it takes via phone, webcam, mobile phone to correct this.

oh and 1 more thing Ken... As I have done with other parts, if it is defective, send it to me and I will replace it. If the boost control solenoid is bad, let me know, diverter valve stuck open, let me know... I have always been here to help you. Remember when we sat on SKYPE with the Webcams at my house? Just contact me, its easier then me having to find out whats wrong through a post. I have a 99% positive feedback on this forum, so I will take care of you.

kcphuah is infamous around these partskcphuah is infamous around these parts
Guys, this will be a long one.

So there are 2 files that I have received from Softronic, one from the day I bought the Kit from Dan, second one was emailed to me last week by softronic. After flashing the car with the 2nd file, I felt that I am making more power with 1.2 - 1.25 bar of boost up til ~ 4800rpm and boost falls off to 0.7-0.8 bar till red line.

Softronic asked me to re-flash the car with the original file that he sent me when I bought the kit and wanted me to log some numbers for him to look at. Once the original file was uploaded, I took the car out and ran it on 3rd gear, car nailed ~1.2 - 1.25bar on WOT, but still waiting for softronic to tell me how I was running on AFR. So, this should eliminate the problem being boost leak, it gotta be something else.

Dan, as Ray has mentioned on a few posts above this, I brought the car to Weissach and have actually spent the money and ask them to check the installation part of the turbo kit to determine if CG Motorsports screwed up or hook up anything wrongly according to the installation manuals I downloaded from your website. The result was everything is correct and there are not a single problem at all, and this includes the greddy EBC. And this is a honest 3rd party opinion.

Dan, at first you suggested there could be other things may have gone wrong and I spent almost 1500 dollars getting weissach to do a complete leak down test on each cyclinder and also did a boost leak test to ensure everything is in order and my results come up positive and the engine itself has no problems to begin with. In terms of DV or boost hoses, those are new and were puchased from you as well...

And Dan you know that I have been more than patience in dealing with this but I am really losing faith! You giving the wrong instruction in hooking up the NO and NC thing off the Greddy EBC, promised me to give me a refund on the defective parts ( ~ 6 weeks ago ) but you never did and right before posting this thread I just phoned up my credit card company to make sure it isn't on my next statement but there were no record of refund found, there goes your part being a responsible seller and posting here claiming you refunded me. And of course in addition to this, you also advised me to remove the turbo kit a few months ago when I was running out of option finding what was wrong with my turbo kit being smoking and burning oil.

As stated before, at the end of the day my request is very simple I want to get the HP that I paid for, and if you cannot deliver that, you should not be selling the kit! And of course I also want my money refunded on the defective parts I sent you back as well.

In terms of shipping the car down south, are you going to cover the transportation cost?

so wait when the car was nailing 1.2 bar ... straight through how did it feel ? much much faster then b4 obviously? and were u able to hit 1.2 bars and hold, through ALL your runs ?

so is the problem corrected now? or is the car still *******?

My friend,
If you have the car in ut posession.... take a few picks of the greddy control valve.... I want to see the lines....there are different ways you hook up greddy depending on the WGs- external WGs vs internal ones.... what kind do you have?
You can do this really quickly.... OR turn off the boost controller vie the button and get on it... will it hold .8 bars or so?

another thing is hooking up a manual boost controller... reall easy... you connect the pressure line wiht the DV lines... run the to one of the nipples on the MBC and the other to the WG lines... thats it... turn down the valve on top and test... simple...
