My day at the 1/4 mile track
When it does hook up though you will likely have to shift the 1-2 shift a little closer to redline, I also shift at or near redline in the other gears as well. Either should work fine if you shift quick enough.
Yea its about practice and the right conditions!! unforturnetly here right now its hit and miss!! Tomorrow is supposed to be mid 60s compared to 44 yesterday!!
Something Corey left out, he was running fuel , maybe half 93 pump and half 104, the reason i am posting is so others who read this don't go out to the track and run the boost he was with out good fuel, I would hate to read someone posting he blew the motor at the track because he saw someone else do it..... This doesn't take away from the great time he ran, just looking out for the members.
Thanks Paul forgot that bit of info !! yea that is correct i had just over half tank of 94 and did add 5 gallons of 104. so i would say i was near 98 or 99 octane. Insurance is cheep if yo use fuel

one love I agree 100% . It was really cold and he didn't have AFR gauge and we didn't really know how safe it was running. One can never too safe when running in such cold weather and it was cold! I am sure most know this , It was just a reminder.
thanks, I was going to ask what octane level you were at.
