A couple of folks were kind enough to see my latest mods, so:

Went from Gemballa 19":



to ROOCK 18":



Obviously need center caps - TBD. Wanted to reduce unsprung weight, a little less BLING, and something a little more reliable for very hard daily driving.

How did you do the stripe? Painted or sticker? TIA.

 

sticker - takes a hour to put on and half that to take off. This way I know which seal grey TT in the parking lot at the grocery store is mine. Everyone has one in SoCal.

What center caps are you going to put on - crest or Turbo script ?

 

I have a set of chrome Ralph Boothe silver badge emblems I'm going to pull off my other wheels. If they don't look good, I'll scrounge up a set of Turbo scripts or the silver with black etched emblems.
