We provide full instructions for removal when we send you our painted front console, if that is what you're looking for. the 'batwing' is the tiny piece at the very bottom of the stack, just before your shifter. The upper horseshoe section is called the Front Center Console.

But this one is easy. As for painting, if you're doing this without us, be sure you have someone who really knows what they are doing. Or just hit our order page and go from there, a freshly painted beauty will arrive to your door for swap.

Pull from the lower point on the passenger side, at bottom, and as you work your hands up and around, just pull straight out. The clips will release.

Cover your shifter and brake with a towel to avoid marring any surfaces.

Once out, you can 'pinch' the switches out from behind. The hardest part of the entire thing is removing the lighter assembly. Not for the faint of heart.

Good luck.
