that seems like a complete waste of money, according to the chart you will only notice a difference in power about 6K rpm's. How often are you above there? I bet you would be better off downgrading to the 700 package. I would bet dollars to donuts that it's more fun, and is faster.

The GT 800 package includes some motor work that will help lengthen it's life span and I want a taller 1st gear anyway.

Besides, isn't this whole thing a waste of money anyway??

I agree - getting the rods done would be a priority to me if I was to upgrade to the 700. In my most unexperienced opinion, stronger rods are worth the investment.
