05 Rs6?

Does anyone know when will the 05 RS6 be released? The lease on my currently daily beater, X5, will be up soon, so I'm thinking about replacing it with RS6. I couldn't find any info. on AUDI website. Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

Peter

Arling,

What's CLS55..is it a new model? I do need a 4-door sedan cuz it'd be used for business sometimes. I've thought about E55...but personally, I've always thought of MB as luxury over performance, and I'm looking for a true performance sedan.

I wonder if I can still find any current model of RS6 at the dealerships? Otherwise, I guess I'll have to wait for the new M5.

Here's an article. The CLS is a 4 door "couple". It will have the 5.5 liter S/C engine that's in the E55. I'd say that the styling is a lot more agressive the E, but performance should be about the same.

my suggestion is, go put deposit on one to secure the spot. won't hurt if u don't like it when the car shows up. there will be planty people want it

btw, car is out in Germany. won't be too far from here.

Pictures I've seen make the backseat of the CLS look roomier than the E-class, but I'm told there's 3 inches less legroom. With a tall driver/front passenger, there's barely 3" of legroom in the E. Anyone have the correct info?

Thanks for the article...it's a beautiful car! I think the exterior lines of the CLS flow much better than the new M5!

A Pontiac Aztec has better lines than the new M5.

Yeah...it sure does fit my need. I'll contact my dealer to put down a deposit. Is it true that the BMW dealers haven't even started taking deposits for the new M5?
